Bhumika Chawla is a popular model and actress in Indian films. she appeared in over thirty movies in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Bhojpuri, and Kannada. She made her movie debut in the Telugu film Yuvakudu (2000). she does great acting in films such as Tere Naam, Missamma, Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, Gandhi, My Father, and Buddy.  Bhumika was born on 21 August 1978, in New Delhi, in a Punjabi family. Bhumika's father was an Army officer.  In 1997 she moved to Mumbai for starting her career with music videos and Ad films. She worked in the Zee TV series Hip Hip Hurray.


After various basically and industrially fruitful movies in the South, Chawla featured in her first Bollywood film, Tere Naam (2003), close by Salman Khan. The film was one of the year's most noteworthy grosser. It was a basic achievement and her presentation in the film won her numerous positive notification just as a few selections for Best Debut at various honor functions. She was assigned for her first Filmfare Best Actress Award and won the Best Debut prize at the Zee Cine Awards service.
